The moonlight begins to cross the forest floor
Revealing sticks and leaves not shown before.

The fractioned light begins to glare and shine
In the locked doors of my mind.

I feel the air around me chill
As the night prepares its will.

The lunar light begins to lap
At my feet and entrap

The will of mine I so did not
Give up the night that I got caught.

As the light moves up my legs
Remember now my mind, it begs.

That one night with mist so fine
I felt as if something divine

Was here on earth with me and God.
Across my mind something so broad

Tried to say and warn and tell
But not fast enough, I fell to hell.

A trap had sprung that had not be thought
To catch me then, and so I fought

At the chord and wires that surrounded.
But in my head, something pounded

A warning of evil to come.
I could not move, my mind was numb

For at that moment, footsteps I heard
But not of a friend that I prefered.

Instead a beast with eyes so fine
And teeth and hair that did so shine.

In the full moon's light I did see
The hunter's instinct facing me.

I tried to scream. I tried to yell.
I did try but as you may tell

The wolf got me with his teeth
And sunk them into my sheath

That held my knife of steel inside.
I thought at once it had not tried

To sink its teeth into my skin
But then I felt the clothes grow thin.

My blood had spilled upon the ground
And created puddles all around.

The earth was stained with my life.
And as I fought with heated strife

The wolf let go and ran and hid
As my dad shot and skid

Next to me and with his knife
Brought me home and gave me life.

But hear the words he did not know
Every night at full moon's grow

I too begin to change inside the light.
Bent with darkness this very night

I can feel my teeth grow long
As my muscle too grow strong.

My fur is gray and eyes are pure
Yellow so as too lure

Unaware life into my jaws
And pry them open with my claws.

The air is rich with life tonight
In my full moon's wondrous light.

I am a werewolf, this is true
And now I come here all for you

To teach you of the ways that you can be
A werewolf too and hunt with me.
